Canvas print is stretch mounted on wooden frame, wired, and ready to hang. No framing necessary, just unbox and hang.
At first glance, this piece feels calm-sweeping pastels, soft transitions, subtle emotion. But beneath the surface lies a much deeper story.
Originally painted in bold, vibrant oils, the canvas became a symbol of control-a mask I wore while enduring relentless bullying. I tried to paint beauty, but it began to feel like her. The aggressor. The pain.
One day, I snapped. I picked up white paint and, with angry, sweeping strokes, covered most of everything. I felt like I was erasing her-and I liked it.
What emerged surprised me: not chaos, but calm. The neutrals became soothing. Honest. Mine. You can still see traces of the original-bold colors peeking through like memories, refusing to be fully buried. But now, the painting tells my story.
