No Reprieve
From the collection She Who Feels Deeply
This one’s for the women who’ve climbed mountains just to find another one waiting. No Reprieve doesn’t sugarcoat the struggle—it’s about the exhaustion that comes when life keeps asking you to rise, even when you're running on fumes.
Those icy blues and stormy violets? That’s the burnout. The resentment. The part of you that wants to scream, “Seriously?! Again?” And the golden light down below? That’s the comfort zone. It’s warm, it’s stable… but staying there too long starts to feel like settling.
This painting captures the tension between craving rest and knowing growth won’t happen if you stay stuck. It’s for the curmudgeon in all of us—the one who’s tired of being strong, tired of lessons, tired of always having to push. And yet… you still do. Not because it’s easy. But because your soul refuses to shrink.
Inspiration: Challenges, soul-level fatigue, growth you didn’t ask for, resentment with a side of wisdom, and the part of you that climbs anyway.
